The PoundCake is a 4 channel 100 Watt Monster of Rock.
It underwent a massive facelift that greatly expanded its versatility and took what was a 4 Channel footswitch able amp - to a 4 Channel MIDI switch able amp, now capable of roaming any style you want confidently - the PoundCake MK3.
The amp not only delivers classic sounds from sweet clean tones to massive high gain, but also cuts through in every mix. The versatility of tones is like a Chameleon and it seems to capture every articulation detail, but don´t underestimate this 100 Watt monster - it can roar really LOUD!
The four independent Channels CLEAN, CRUNCH, MEAT and HEAT featuring individual Gain, Tone and Master Volume Controls and can be switched via MIDI. To keep all the dynamic of tube sounds all switching is done via Relays with no solid-state device in the signal path.
CLEAN covers all bell ringing clean tones up to slightly overdriven blues sounds.
CRUNCH starts at slightly overdriven and can turn in the British or American style, depending on the combination of gain setting and boost selections, SRV, AC/DC or early VH tones were the origins of this channel.
MEAT beefing up the CRUNCH channel with an extra gain tube stage, that´s what the MEAT Channel is all about. It delivers more gain and saturation for heavy rhythm styles.
HEAT channel is high gain at full throttle, sweet singing, liquid metal and it still capture every articulation detail of your fingers.
You do not need to compromise to achieve your desired tonal palette. Next to the Channel switching a Bright, Gain and Mid Boost can also assigned to each Channel and stored in 100 MIDI programmes.
The adjustable FX-LOOP features Mix and Level controls for serial or parallel operation. It can be removed completely from signal path with a true "Hard" Bypass Switch. The FX-LOOP can also be switched via MIDI.
The power amp can be fired with EL34 or 6L6 power tubes selected with a Bias switch.
